When Barton G Restaurant & Rolex decided to partner up at the US Open, they wanted to create a dining experience that was not only delicious but also visually stunning; this is where Lignum Custom Design and our custom walnut wood desk came in. As a company specializing in custom cabinet fabrication, we were tasked with elevating the overall experience of the pop-up restaurant with our custom walnut wood desk as the centerpiece.
THE CLIENT
Barton G Restaurant & Rolex is a collaboration between two established brands in their respective industries. The goal was to create an immersive dining experience that would seamlessly integrate the world-class cuisine of Barton G with the luxurious and sophisticated appeal of Rolex watches. The result was starting of a pop-up restaurant that offered guests a unique and unforgettable dining experience.
The pop-up restaurant was designed to reflect the two brands, combining their strengths to create a setting that was not only visually stunning but also provided an atmosphere that was refined, stylish, and sophisticated. When guests entered the restaurant, they were greeted by an ambiance, unlike anything they had experienced. Every detail was carefully planned to create a functional and stylish environment, with an eye-catching Rolex display wall, custom lighting, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
THE CHALLENGE
The challenge was creating a unique and memorable experience for diners that reflected the elegance and sophistication of the restaurant and the watch brand. The pop-up restaurant was about serving food and creating an ambiance that would leave a lasting impression on guests.
OUR APPROACH
Our approach was to combine function and style in every aspect of the restaurant’s design. From the towering Rolex display wall to the decorative lacquered displays with wood shelves and glass cases, every element was carefully planned and executed to enhance the overall experience for diners.
At the entrance, behind the hostess stand, was a towering Rolex display wall, including LED lights and a Rift Cut Walnut panel with a lacquer backing. This bold statement piece immediately drew the eye and set the tone for the rest of the restaurant. As guests circled the restaurant, they were greeted by sequenced wood wall paneling, all with custom lighting and matching storage coat cabinets.
RESULTS
The outcome was a memorable pop-up restaurant that left a lasting impact on diners, thanks to the perfect blend of sophistication, elegance, and meticulous attention to detail. The custom-made furnishings, including the Mirror, Backed Louvered Screen with Square Columns, Rolex Upholstered Display Stands, Set Design, Event Woodwork, Built-In Display, Paneling, and Columns with LED lights and backdrop lighting, as well as the Walnut Wood Veneer Wall Paneling and Rolex Display Stands, created a visually stunning setting for guests to relish delicious food, showcasing the partnership between Barton G Restaurant & Rolex. Additionally, the Welcome Desk with a custom backdrop, Upholstered Back Panel, and Walnut Wood Panel Wall added a warm and inviting touch.
