The Shelborne Hotel is a boutique hotel built right at Miami’s famous South Beach. They needed a local custom carpentry company to manufacture all their interior – and some of the exterior. That’s how they found us.
We built everything from the beds, nightstands, credenzas in all the rooms to the reception desk made up of custom LED lighting and over 1500 Clear Acrylic Orbs. The result is magnificent if we say so ourselves.
We are still their favorite carpenters in Miami, FL.
Situated on prime waterfront slip, the Pine Tree House could float we used so much wood.
This project consisted of a complete package. Built-In lacquer wall unit with custom cabinetry & LED lights, walnut floating vanities, credenzas, walnut slat wood bar with antique mirror backing.
The San Marino House is the most viewed project in our carpentry portfolio. It’s got everything you could wish for.
A floor to ceiling lacquer wall unit with custom cabinetry lets you stash your things with style. Floating glass shelves carry fine liquor bottles for the classy antique mirror-backed bar. Speaking about bars, the solid wood white oak slat bar and its matching back bar give the pool house a real vacation vibe.
Who wouldn’t want to live here??
Porfirio’s Restaurant is the flagship of our carpentry portfolio. This project demanded everything from carpentry to custom lighting, and our workers handled it like the champs they are!
As part of the carpentry work, we created wall to wall, floor to ceiling wood paneling with meticulously carved patterns. Parts of the stonework are the stone walls with raised lettering and the marble countertops. Patina copper-clad counters with rivet details and steel hanging bottle displays with LED-lit acrylic shelves and backlit bottle vitrines show our expertise in metalwork and lighting.
Steven Busto was the leading architect and designer on the project. He said we were the only woodworking company in Miami that could do it.
Menin Hotels & Hospitality and Lignum go years back. It’s an honor and a privilege for us to work with them again and again.
The projects we bring to life together start right here in the Menin Hospitality Offices, with the interior crafted by us. On the live-edge custom desk, we sign our papers. The floating sideboards hide the office utensils. The Carrara marble tables adorn the conference rooms. And the table’s rift-cut oak bases matching the sideboards give a sense of unity.
We’ve worked on four houses on North Bay Road. We wanted them to be elegant, inviting, and of the highest quality.
We made that vision come to life in the interior with matte lacquer kitchen cabinets that absorb the natural lighting and a walnut bar with a wall unit and counter. In the master bedroom, we built a custom tufted upholstered headboard and bed platform. Outside, we made an exterior grade IPE wood BBQ kitchen base cabinet, solid wood table, and IPE clad columns.
This is one of the four houses we did on North Bay Road.
The North Bay Road House IV is a piece of heaven made from plain sliced white oak with a matte finish. We dressed the main bar with matching white oak cabinetry, distressed fluted bar facade, and attached a brass toe kick.
Do you like the solid oak wood console in matte black? So do we! Give us a call if you want one too.
Welcome to the East Di Lido Residence in Miami, FL. This beautiful Mediterranean waterfront villa is nothing short of spectacular, as is its custom millwork.
The owners loved the built-in wall unit so much that they wanted us to do it again in the next house. The louvered teak double entry front gate, the custom bar with walnut wood slat facade & its matching back bar, the floor to ceiling shaker style wall unit with LED lights, and the floor to ceiling kitchen cabinetry make this residence a masterpiece.
Bodega Taqueria Y Tequila makes the best tacos in Miami. You should try them, seriously. We’re proud to say that our carpentry is almost as good as their tacos!
The reclaimed barn wood glistens like gold. Combined with the arched antique mirrors, and chicken wire mesh panel inserts, it fills the place with an old-world charm.
Oh, and get ready for a second location! Bodega Taqueria Y Tequila will open a place in Fort Lauderdale, where we will do the carpentry work again. This time we’ll add a DJ booth made of reclaimed wood and an ancient-looking fireplace.
P.S. Again, try the tacos!
The designers based the blueprint for this bar on a boat. When they started looking for a company to bring it to life, everyone turned them down. Except us.
We hand-laminated the fiberglass surface and gave it a matte lacquer finish. For the contoured base frame, we used marine-grade plywood to make the cabinets with lacquer interior, integrated BBQ equipment, sinks, fridge, and a wine cooler.
“It came out amazing.” – Alice Borges (Client)
This is the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort.
Notice the wood paneling with stainless steel trim reveals on the reception desk – a great blend of carpentry and metalwork. Also, watch the Vitrofusion stained glass panel reflect the natural light. Just beautiful!
After 10 years, this piece of carpentry has stood the test of time.
Welcome to the Ilios Restaurant in the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. Appetizer?
This project demanded our complete skill-set – custom made carpentry as the basis for complementary stonework, metalwork, and lighting. We fabricated and installed floor to ceiling wood wall paneling, wood columns, backlit colored acrylic panels, and glass door bottle display cabinets.
But that’s not everything. We also made the upholstered banquettes, decorative acrylic screen dividers, and the contoured hostess stand.
You’ll enjoy walking through that beautiful stained glass door almost as much as your meal.
Bar Tanaka was a much-loved place for sushi, sake, and drinks.
The long bar table with live edge, butterfly ties, and a lacquer finish is really something for the eye. We painted the wall panels and the built-in custom cabinetry to match the color scheme. The red table in the middle of the room turns heads too, with its brass leg detail.
乾杯 (Kanpai)! It’s Japanese and means cheers!
Barton G Restaurant partnered up with Rolex for the US open of their pop-up restaurant. Then the two partnered up with us for their custom woodworking needs.
The first thing you see when entering is the Rolex display wall made of rift-cut walnut with lacquer panel backing with appealing LED lights. As you circle the restaurant, you find decorative lacquered displays with wood shelves and glass cases. The wood wall paneling all comes with custom lighting and matching coat cabinets.
Where there are great design and architecture, we bring it to life.
The heart of this project is the huge entertainment center in rift-cut white oak, with an integrated fireplace, and speaker cabinets. Throughout the residence, you find one-of-a-kind furniture pieces. Upstairs, for example, greets you a fumed eucalyptus console with leather insert & polished brass legs. In a corner sits the Carrara marble console with polished brass caps and Shou Sugi ban charred pedestals.
The second of four houses we did on North Bay Road.
Simple yet elegant with a custom built-in bookshelf and a base cabinet featuring soft-close sliding doors and a niche window. In the kitchen, we installed traditional recessed panel cabinet doors, lacquer finish cabinetry, and a kitchen island to offer plenty of storage solutions.
As far as bars go, this one really lights it up! Take a look at the 5-tier towering inferno of antique mirror backing, LED lights, neon trim, and the speckled paint job.
Then take a seat and put your drink on a custom Keg table with acrylic tops. Get a bite to eat from the laminated food kiosk and enjoy the show taking place on the custom-made stage!
This historic house nestled in Coral Gables has an extensive library, and thus needed large Built-in Bookshelves; Finished in White Lacquer and incorporating some storage and functionality goes a long way. At the front entry, solid wood arched double doors keep security tight. Still, if you’re invited, then enjoy a home-cooked meal out of this enormous kitchen, two-tone finish, Stained figured wood veneer, and lacquered upper cabinets.
Barton G is well-known for his restaurants and crazy culinary creations. Now you have the chance to take a look around his house.
The plans and materials were lying around for years until Mr. G sent everything our way. The result is spectacular! Automatic sliding marble doors, a floating wall unit, pearl lacquer interior with LED lights, and stainless trims make this living room one of a kind.
This was the first of four houses we did on North Bay Road. It was the start of a long line of great projects.

The lobby of the B Ocean Hotel on the Lauderdale beach is mesmerizing. It’s simple, clean, and elegant.
The ceilings are speckled with bright white lights shining on the golden White Oak staircase. Properly maintained, this staircase with its treads, landings, and solid wood handrails will last forever.
The Sheraton Four Points is located in Bentonville, Arkansas. We’ve manufactured everything in our base in Miami, delivered it to Bentonville, and installed it there.
We’ve installed cozy seats and sofas in the lobby for those who need a rest. Watching the fireplace in the dark walnut wall unit with its floating shelf helps to relax too. For the well-rested, there is a bar just past the reception. The combination of lacquer framing and varying walnut stain makes the bar a feast for the eyes. Cheers!

Once located within the Shelborne Hotel, this restaurant was a beautiful piece of carpentry. The restaurant was divided into 3 sections, a tropical lounge, an indoor fine-dining room, and outdoor fine-dining, connected to a central bar.
The Vesper Restaurant had some pretty neat elements. Wall to wall slat paneling, shelving built into the woodwork, upholstered banquettes, and elegant booths, to name a few of them. The centerpiece was the main bar with its walnut wood facade, matching floor to ceiling paneling, decorative brass screens, and custom lighting above the bar.
We’ve built and installed all of it.
In 2007 Jackie Gleason & ADD Inc. gave a new custom carpentry shop in Miami a chance to enter the commercial game. They hired us to work on the Fillmore project.
We constructed twelve vendor stations and a reception desk. The design incorporated a combination of backlighting, acrylics, metal laminate, and mesh panels. Funky! With Fillmore, we had set our first commercial mark on Miami Beach. Soon, from one came many, and we got hired by giants like Marriot, Hilton, and Ritz.
